We really focus on your nutrition, we fully appreciate that toning up, getting fitter and losing weight is a hard thing to master. Yet combined with the right nutrition, you can expect results and weight loss that all the diets out there fail to deliver! Why? We say and advocate eating right for your body is 70% of the equation, with the right sort of exercise being the other 30%, working you at the right levels to burn body fat, not like your typical gym classes which work you way too hard and don't actually burn fats, burning carbs instead, and then offering you chocolate, crisps and rice cakes at the door so you don't actually lose weight even if you've worked your butt off trying, interesting huh?
This is why we do body stats testing with Tanita Ironman scales which are bio impedance scales and calculate your resting metabolic rate, water balance, body fat, visceral (or internal) body fat, we give you a physique rating based on your body shape height and weight, check your Body Mass Index, muscle mass, active metabolic rate, we let you know what your body's metabolic age is compared to its biological age. We'll tell you how much protein you need to be having on a daily basis to support your bodies ability to maintain lean muscle tissue, and we constantly educate you on the right food choices, how to eat when to eat, and what to eat when you're out with friends and having BBQ's. We will look at your food diary for the first week, and last week of each 6 week course, check your having enough water, which is the real key to losing weight, dehydration means your digestive system doesn't work efficiently.
Yes thats a lot to measure and we do more, we do it all and we look at your circumference measurements and weight too!!! Get all of these right and your energy levels go through the roof, and weight falls off, 1-2 pounds a week mind though, any more and you're body could actually be storing body fat.
A gram of muscle burns 7 times the amount of calories as a gram of fat, so we want lean muscle tissue right? So whats the Key? it s your Active metabolic rate, this is how many calories your body needs a day to become its ideal weight, and with your personal protein factor to ramp up your metabolism and all the exercise you'll be doing your body will become an energy burning furnace. Losing weight is actually simple, you just burn off more than you put in, You wouldn't put diesel in a petrol engined car would you, so why put saturated fats and E numbers and other unhealthy foods in your body. Makes sense when you look at it like that right?
Each bootcamp class is designed to burn lots of calories, boost your metabolism, strengthen your core, tone your muscles up, increase flexibility and improve your cardio vascular health and stamina. Each class is progressive, so you're always improving, we select the best exercises that we have used with our personal training clients, and targeting all the areas you want to specifically work on. Classes are designed to suit all fitness levels, and abilities with different levels for each exercise, you work at your own pace, and take rest when and if you need to. Bootcamps are tough though, you'll be working hard, and may ache a little the next day, yet you'll feel good, as you'll notice areas toning and tightening up, clothes feeling looser, in fact you'll probably need a new wardrobe, and we'll look after you, and give you stretching routines, and keep you in touch with life coaches, massage therapists and nutritionists to support you all the way on every 6 week Core Motion Bootcamp Course
